you would think that too if your mom gave you home haircuts..especially the kind that "keeps the hair off your face" ie..a mini mullet. another thing that didnt help? i thought i was a boy scout for awhile. you would too if you participated in all their activities(oblivious to anybodies annoyance).
ive been thinking of participating in this 30 day blogging challenge that i saw on my friend Rebeccas blog. each day for thirty days you post something. i didnt want to fill up your dashboard and make you feel like you needed to comment, but you KNOW that, im just being OCD.so i think i will TRY to do it:) the first day you tell ten things about yourself, ive already got two down...hey having a mullet is finally working for me !
- instead of carrying around a "baby" i carried around a rubber lizard (iggyliz) carefully wrapped up in a quilt.
- im using dots instead of numbers to hopefully trick you into thinking i actually have ten...
- this past week i laid in bleach (i was laying down with sick piggy). i didnt notice til i had burned up my leg, cute shorts and a tee-shirt. (i had cleaned up some piggy puke and the bleach wasnt fully mopped up)
- i pretend to be grossed out when Aloha (aka "binky" the military macaw) regurgitates food for me
- the sweetest thing a boy has ever done for me was...regurgitate food for me....
- someday i want a house that i can put a fence around so my (as of right now imaginary) horse can stick his head in all the windows.
- i went to traffic school three times in one year, and still failed the test that they give you at the end.
- i took Spanish 1 in HS....twice....

Good thing this all involves pictures, or I'd have to do it too. ;)
Can't wait to see what you come up with for the rest of them.
Good grief! What about people that have to work for a living? How are they suppsed to participate?
"hey cool, your thinking of leaving a message. do it, do it, do it!"
Seriously makes me lol like its the first time I have read that every time I see it.
I had a bob, with bangs... I'll have to find a picture. I had it because I wouldn't let me mom do my hair, or put any clips or anything in it.
"the sweetest thing a boy has ever done for me was...regurgitate food for me...."
The sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me was tear up a couch because she missed me. :)
I hate Spanish. I took French... I got up to French 3.... However, I can only say a few words and I have no clue how I passed.
"ole!" hehe.
and to top off the wonderful plethora (wow I spelled that correctly on my first try!) of comments, I think we have the same couch, yours is the dark version, and mine is the lighter version.
And all we can do in life is try. :) If you dont like a day, skip it, or go to the next or jump around. Who cares!? Its your blog!
sorry to use your blogging space to do this but shen and singer eats make you create an account to post and i am to lazy....
SINGER EATS...you have a loving hut midtown on the west side...
thanks
Haha, you're so funny; i love the bit about driving school and Spanish class. Also, I had boy haircuts when I was a kid...my mom used to call them "pixie" cuts.
This sounds like a fun blogging project. It'll be fun to see all your photos. I'm terribly camera shy, but I like to see other people's pics.
I hope Cutie PIe is all better now.
What Shen said is too funny!
Yeah, I had boy haircuts too, that would be because I was a total tomboy when I was little.
Your so funny, and I am so with you on the horse sticking his head in through the window! That would be way cool!
I can't wait to see the rest of your pics! :0)
I just love your piggy!
You used to be a boy. That makes me think of my wacky grandma, who told me she was a boy until she kissed her elbow and turned into a girl. A short, homemade, haircut sounds better than that.
I might go for the 30-days thing. Honestly, I don't know what Shen was talking about - it sounds easier than posting food every day. I like how much you share with us!
I would love if you posted every day! Seriously, I love seeing your posts in my dashboard. :)
I've thought about doing the 30 day challenge, but that just seems overwhelming to me right now. I have several projects I'm currently working on, but I'm enjoying seeing Rebecca's posts on it.
A rubber lizard all wrapped up? Cuteness! As always, your post made me smile & laugh. You're awesome!
FF,thanks, but im pretty sure lots of them are going to be pretty boring:(
Shen, ...eh not up to your usual standards
Rebecca, lol:) as much of a tomboy as i was, i would have let my mom do my hair, but she was horrible at it! she couldnt even put clips in,not joking! i loved that about the couch, they are so sweet!(i love that we think the same way about that stuff!)three years of French! do you think if you were around people speaking it for awhile it would come back? three years is a long time!!loved that you saw the ole, it made me smile! and your couch did look similar!!i think we got ours at jeromes?
Susan, are you the one that doesnt likes vegan blogs unless they are about food?(and no prob about whatever you were saying)
Rose, hahahah yea, nice way to cover up! a pixie! psh, did she tell you it was "so cute" bleh gag. piggy is 100% better! thank you so much for asking! she has been wagging her tail non stop, i think she is glad to be feeling better!
Michelle, i wonder if i would have been such a tomboy if my mom had treated me more girly..oh well, im making it up now. thank you for commenting and...well dont feel like you have to, some of he posts coming up will be boring.
Melody, and i love your frosting recipe...i have to write you an email of all the things ive done with that one recipe, and all the people ive told about it!!
Jessica, thank you for leaving a comment. thats funny what your grandma would say, what brought on that convo!!?? and yea i think getting pics onto my computer everyday would be harder than using all the ones that i had downloaded already...you should go for it with use! she (Rebecca) is two weeks ahead of me so its not like you will be very behind:)ttysoon
Molly, glad you liked it:) reading Laloofahs posts made me rememebr iggyliz the rubber iguana:)hhaha i know what you mean about blogging being overwhelming, i didnt participate in vegan mofo because of that very reason!
fun! i might have to join you!
Humph! I thought it was pretty good! Michelle2 liked it!
Susan, I had no idea that people need to create an account to post on my blog. Maybe this weekend, I'll see if there's a way to remove that.
For some reason, my parents always cut my youngest sister's hair so short like a boy. She was such a cute girl; I have no idea why they did that. Everyone thought she was a boy.
I like the idea of the challenge; those are fun topics. I "might" try to incorporate a few. But I also have, like 100 food pictures that I've yet to blog.
Susan here
no I love all blogs that love animals...food or not...I was the one questioning about diapers for your little guys.
you are pretty darn hilarious! im glad i found your blog. =D
LM, ok! i think about that one post of yours, the one titled "cold" this might be fun. i have to work with a few like, im not going to put up pics of some family etc. the rules are not hard and fast, ttysoon
Shen,:( i thought i was special that i got to post on your blog..
Jenny, really? what the heck is wrong with parents!and why only her? did she hate it back then or not really notice? itd be fun if you joined in:) but i know what you mean about having a ton of pics. sadly most of mine are pointless and not blogworthy lolttysoon!
susan, oh ok:) make a blog so we can know about you! 0bviously if you are interested in animals YOU are somebody that id want to know!
Amber, hey! thank you! im not so funny in "real" life,....i just get a bunch of weird looks...
